Rutherford Cross is delighted to be exclusively partnered with our key client, who are looking for a Finance Business Partner to act as a strategic link between finance and operations for a major retail client. This role is all about turning data into insight, influencing key decisions, and building strong relationships across senior stakeholders.

For this opportunity, we are seeking to engage with qualified accountants (ICAS, ACCA, CIMA) with demonstrable prior experience in a business partnering role, any experience in retail, consumer goods, or infrastructure would be highly advantageous.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a trusted relationship with the client’s finance and operational teams, acting as the key point of contact for all finance-related queries
- Present weekly and monthly financial performance and KPIs at internal and client facing meetings
- Provide financial insights and analysis to support the client’s strategic objectives and operational decisions
- Analyse and present complex financial data in a clear and actionable manner
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial reporting and increase value to the business
- Work closely with the Finance Director and Financial Controller to ensure all department targets are achieved
- Collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to prepare accurate and insightful budgets and forecasts
- Deal with ad hoc customer requests within required deadlines
