Finance Business Partner

Rutherford Cross – Edinburgh

Rutherford Cross are delighted to be partnering with an instantly recognisable organisation which has a deeply embedded significance to the City of Edinburgh.

In this role you will be exposed to a wide range of senior stakeholders and be in a position that allows you to challenge process and aid decision making through strong analysis and forecasting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for overseeing the preparation of monthly, quarterly and year end reporting.
• Provide financial support to budget holders.
• Produce detailed financial reports, analysis and forward plans.
• Ensure financial systems and cash handling are managed effectively.
• Participate fully as part of the management team.
• Management of a small team including delegation of work, staff training and mentoring.

Candidate Requirements:

• Qualified Accountant CA/ACCA/CIMA
• Strong financial management and accounting background.
• Experience of using an integrated accounting package in a large multi departmental organisation.
• Experience of working in the health/leisure sector would be desirable
• Strong communication skills with an ability to influence at senior stakeholder level.
