With the finance team growing, this role offers an amazing opportunity for an individual who wants to operate in an educational environment and has experience in providing financial insight with a commercial understanding of finance.

Key duties include:

• Analyse and optimise business performance
• Offer business insights, forecasting, financial advice and analysis to stakeholders
• Provide guidance on the financial implications of operational decisions, offering expert insights through tailored forecasting and scenario analysis
• Foster collaborative relationships with senior managers, identify growth opportunities, collaborate with finance professionals, assist in presenting reports, and contribute to year-end accounts
• Generate possibilities for revenue expansion
• Develop effective business partnering and collaborative relationships, influencing financial stakeholders

Experience required:

• Qualified (or part-qualified) accountants will be considered
• Software experience in Microsoft Office and mainframe skills
• Background in financial reporting and analysis
• Experience in budgeting and forecasting
• Experience in financial leadership and working with stakeholders
