Description

Rutherford Cross are pleased to be engaged by a high-tech Manufacturing company in North Glasgow to help appoint the newly created position of Finance Business Partner. They operate a hybrid and flexible working pattern with an earlier finish on a Friday. Salary up to 50k.

This position has been created due to significant growth in business (head count growth of 33% in the last 6 months at their Glasgow facility). Further growth is planned, and this business-critical role has been created to act as the bridge between the Management Accountant and the Financial Controller. We are looking for someone who has the strength of personality to interface with a wide range of internal stakeholders and who can add colour to the numbers and explain them in layman’s terms.

Ideally, we are looking to engage with qualified accountants who have a strong understanding of standard costing and have previously worked in a manufacturing environment. This is a hugely exciting time to join this organisation as they have just trebled their manufacturing capacity and are taking on more work from Germany & America. It is anticipated that the duties and responsibilities of this role will grow with the business as it expands, and the successful candidate develops a track record of delivery

  • Lead annual standard cost setting process

  • Assist in the preparation of monthly accounts & ensure accuracy of all reported data
  • Analyse & report on all departmental expenditure, efficiency measures and manufacturing variances highlighting any trends
