Rutherford Cross is pleased to be partnered with one of our key clients to appoint a Senior Finance Analyst. The business is based in Glasgow, and they offer a hybrid and flexible working pattern. This newly created role sits in a newly created team reporting to an experienced Financial Controller. Salary is dependent on experience, but applications will be considered up to around £55k provided you possess strong relevant experience.

Ideally, we are looking for experience across financial modelling, analysis and visual reporting with stakeholder management at all levels, across various functions and departments, both internally and externally. We are happy to consider part-qualified or qualified for this position. Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for annual budget model across Retail and Distribution businesses, including model preparation and submission at a site-by-site level for all customer contracts
  • Maintenance of the live budget model for the current year through managing quarterly price amendments on the model based on operational drivers and agreed changes with the customer
  • Liaison with customers to confirm order values for contractual billing, engaging with finance colleagues to ensure all billing raised on time to the agreed schedule
  • Responsible for Profit Reconciliation Balance Sheet (the output of billing v budget variations) and customer-agreed risk & opportunity areas
  • Develop customer-facing and Operational Reporting pack proformas for total contract performance evolving consolidated P&L reporting provided by finance colleagues
  • Establish a quality reputation brand for data analysis and insight trend reporting for the team
  • Identify areas of data management improvement within the team reporting from promoting a continuous improvement of reporting production for the business
  • Build and create a standard approach for costing model templates for new business growth opportunities from collecting and analysing data to estimate the time, cost, materials, and labour required to deliver the required FM services working closely with Ops team
  • Finance Team Power BI SME and support roll-out capability in the team
  • Be a lead representative for the team for reporting data management for Microsoft Dynamics 365 planning and roll-out
