Description
Rutherford Cross is delighted to be partnering with a FMCG business based in Edinburgh to recruit a full-time permanent position of Finance and Procurement Assistant to join its Finance team.
The role is a brand-new position due to the growth of the business that sits between Finance and Procurement and is a really exciting time to join the business with further growth expected in the upcoming years.
Key Activities and Responsibilities:
- Prepare and process purchase and sales invoices
- Responsible for sales ledger
- Prepare large batch payment runs for the purchase ledgers
- Reconcile and review purchase ledger statements
- Responsible for the accurate preparation and completion of credit application documents
- Review and check key financial reconciliations
- Effectively and efficiently support the full operation and maintenance of the purchase order system
- Maintain and update all supplier information (ensuring suppliers are compliant with relevant company policies and procedures)
- Provide timely and accurate management information to the Procurement Manager when required
- Work closely with the Procurement Manager to develop the company’s procurement policies, processes and systems
Experience:
- Previous experience working in a Finance department
- Good communication
- Strong excel skills
