Rutherford Cross is supporting a highly successful international business to appoint a Customer Services Advisor. This is a fast-paced role that will see the ideal candidate being exposed to various functions of the customer adviser department and would suit someone who thrives on learning by doing and enjoys working as part of a team to achieve shared goals.   • Reviewing & processing customer orders while ensuring compliance with company credit control policies
  • Producing all customer paperwork required to obtain customs clearance for export orders
  • Liaising with hauliers & our internal Despatch Team to ensure customer orders are sent in a timely manner, ensuring any issues are clearly communicated to customers
  • Producing customer communications which can relate to often complex market specific issues (which the role holder will enjoy building up knowledge of)
  • Maintaining the customer databases and the customer records in line with company policies
  • Producing all customer paperwork required to obtain new product line listings
  • Co-ordination of the sample product process, including managing couriers and tracking deliveries across the world on behalf of customers
  • Producing and monitoring all key service KPIs including OTIF (On -time and in full despatches) and % of queries resolved within 24 hours
  • Producing relevant reporting for customer service weekly updates
  • General office admin and reception duties, including answering the telephone and greeting visitors to the site
  • Providing ad hoc support to the customer service and finance team

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, work well within a team and be adept at managing different priorities. This role will be office-based in Catrine, East Ayrshire and is offering a salary of up to £24,000. The client is quite flexible on the start date, so a longer notice period would be considered.
