Corporate Finance – In House Opportunity
Rutherford Cross has been engaged to recruit a Commercial Accountant for a market leader in their sector. The remit of this role is to provide in-depth and wide ranging financial and commercial analysis, both routine and project based, including advanced financial modelling.
The Organisation:
The business is going through an exciting period of expansion and is aiming to grow both domestically and internationally. This role would be suited to individuals who have a background in practice ideally from corporate finance or transaction services given the focus of the role being based around acquisitions and business planning.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the Financial Controller with investment analysis, acquisition due diligence, and projects financial control
- Evaluation and review of data generated by the business and creating, evaluating, and challenging information when appropriate
- Timely and accurate production of financial reports to provide directors and senior management team with the key information needed to assess and develop new business opportunities
- Modelling of monthly out-turn forecast, annual budget and business plan in conjunction with senior finance team
Candidate:
- Fully Qualified Accountant
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills essential
- Strong analytical capability
- Solid knowledge of day to day accounting
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a confident ability to discuss and communicate results of analysis to senior managers and directors
- Act as a business partner whilst working alongside non-finance peers
- Able to work well under pressure and manage rapidly changing priorities
Salary:£45,000-£50,000 with a bonus personal bonus
