Rutherford Cross are working with a high performing Edinburgh based SME to identify a high calibre, commercially focussed Accountant. This role represents an excellent opportunity for an ambitious and career focussed individual looking for a firm platform to develop their career in industry.
The Financial Accountant will support the Financial Accounting Manager and assist with monthly reporting, forecasting, statutory and year-end accounts preparation. There will be a particular focus in this role on working capital management, control of company bank accounts, currency management, and managing internal relationships with the sales team. This is a varied and fast paced role which will also touch on managing intercompany transactions, pulling together group cashflows, and also business partnering with internal corporate functions.
A strong track record of achievement both academically and professionally is preferred given the nature and requirements of this position. This is a hands-on finance role that requires an individual with commitment, drive, and commercial acumen.
