The role:

Our client is an Accountancy and Business Advisory firm with three offices in Scotland. They are looking for an Accounts Preparer in their Edinburgh office. The role involves the preparation of year end accounts for a wide ranging portfolio of clients including Sole Traders, Partnerships, Limited Companies, Pension Schemes and LLP’s. The preparation is primarily done from computerised records but may occasionally involve working from manual records. There is also scope to deal with the preparation and submission of quarterly VAT returns.

The person:

• Ideally, you will have at least 18 months experience of working in professional practice
• Knowledge of the following software is preferred but not essential:
• Iris
• Sage
• Quickbooks
• Xero
• Excel
• Word
• Will be able to manage various work flows at the same time and deal directly with clients
