Description

Rutherford Cross is working with a busy port operations facility in Glasgow to appoint an Accounts & Office Manager. This business is an integral part of Scotland’s supply chain as they manage the distribution, storage and import/export of goods.

Our client is a seeking a proactive and detail-oriented individual to join the team. This is a varied and dynamic role that offers the opportunity to manage day-to-day office functions while supporting procurement, billing, and operational activities.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the main point of contact for office and administrative queries
  • Manage stock supplies for operations, engineering, and office needs
  • Assist with customer billing and expense processing
  • Coordinate procurement activities, vendor management, and purchase order creation
  • Organise meeting schedules, set up rooms, and record minutes
  • Support compliance processes, such as managing ISPS passes and maintaining operational systems

 

What We’re Looking For:

  • 3+ years of experience in an office support role
  • Strong organisational, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with SAP would be advantageous
  • Familiarity with logistics or operational environments is advantageous
