Finance Manager

Rutherford Cross is working in partnership with a renowned business based in Glasgow.

This is a key position within the organisation where you will manage a small team and work alongside international colleagues. The remit of this role will include ensuring that divisional performance is understood, cash is managed and the appropriate level of information and support is provided to senior members of the finance team.

The Opportunity:

Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, the main duties and responsibilities as follows:

• Consolidate and review actual and forecast results and review monthly performance
• Ensure external teams are fully aware of operational performance and key issues
• Support the FC in the preparation of the Group statutory accounts including the consolidation and financial statements as well as providing information to auditors
• Assist with the preparation and consolidation of budgets and with regular forecasting exercises throughout the year
• Review operational site budgets
• Actively involved in cash management within the business
• Control the intercompany settlement process ensuring cash is moved around globally in the most appropriate and efficient manner
• Prepare monthly management accounts for various entities
• Consolidation and analysis of Company fixed asset and capital expenditure
• Monthly reconciliation of Group and site balance sheet  The position requires a high calibre individual who has strong interpersonal skills, is detail orientated and possesses excellent technical knowledge. Also the successful candidate will either come from a blue chip organisation or someone who has made their first move out of practice and are already working within industry.A summary of the key candidate requirements are as follows:
