Temporary Project Accountant

Temporary Project Accountant job with a large and complex organisation based outside Glasgow for a 12 month period. Reporting to the Financial Controller you will be responsible for:

• The delivery of milestones of a major Change Programme from an Accounting perspective
• Providing advice and guidance from an Accounting viewpoint during a major systems upgrade, understanding the financial impact of changes in the system
• Inputting into the improvement of management reporting
• Ensuring that the Change Programme is in line with the existing financial processes and procedures
• Skilful stakeholder management, using the internal network to achieve the overall objectives of the Programme in line with overall organisational objectives
• The development of supporting materials to upskill non-financial employees on financial matters

To apply you will be a Qualified Accountant who has previously undertaken a Project Accounting role within a significant change programme, probably within a large scale business. You will ideally also have a solid grounding in Technical Accountancy having previously trained within a Professional Accountancy Firm. You will also have highly developed communication and influencing skills. Salary between £40,000 and £43,000 per annum.
