Description

A highly regarded professional services firm is seeking an experienced Private Client Tax Director to play a key role in the continued growth of its Scottish practice.

The team advises a broad range of high net worth individuals, families, entrepreneurs, business owners and private wealth clients. The incoming Director will inherit an established and high-quality portfolio from day one whilst also taking a leading role in developing new business opportunities and further enhancing the firm's presence in the market.

This opportunity would particularly suit an individual with a strong high net worth private client background. Whilst candidates with OMB exposure will be considered, expertise around wealthy individuals, families and complex personal tax matters is particularly attractive.

The firm is open to specialists from areas such as inheritance tax, trusts and estates, family offices, professional partnerships, medical professionals, legal sector clients or other niche private client markets.

Importantly, there is a clear and genuine route to Partner for the right individual.

Key responsibilities:
- Managing and developing a substantial portfolio of private clients
- Delivering complex advisory projects
- Building long-term client relationships
- Winning new work through networking and business development
- Identifying opportunities across the wider client base
- Coaching and developing future leaders within the team
- Supporting the strategic growth of the Scottish practice

Ideal background:
- CTA qualified or equivalent
- Significant private client tax experience
- Proven business development and client-winning capability
- Strong network within the Scottish market
- Commercial mindset and leadership experience
- Ambition to progress to Partner level

Our client is an equal opportunities employer and positively encourages applications from suitably qualified and eligible candidates regardless of sex, race, disability, age, sexual orientation, gender reassignment, religion or belief, marital status or pregnancy and maternity.
