We are seeking a proactive and experienced Interim Management Accountant to join our client's team during a key transitional period. With the implementation of a new finance system and the launch of a joint venture next month, this role will provide critical support by covering day-to-day transactional responsibilities and assisting with month-end processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support transactional finance tasks, including banking and purchase ledger activities
• Support the month-end process through balance sheet reconciliations and financial analysis
• Assist in freeing up the existing team to focus on key projects, including the ERP system implementation
• Ensure accuracy and compliance in all financial transactions and reports
• Collaborate with the wider finance team to streamline processes and improve efficiencies

Requirements:

• Qualified by experience
• Previous experience in a similar industry role, ideally with exposure to ERP systems
• Strong experience using Excel
• Strong understanding of transactional finance and month-end processes
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• A proactive and adaptable mindset, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills to work effectively with internal teams and stakeholders
