Interim Group Finance Manager

Interim Group Finance Manager job with our growing Glasgow-based client for a 4-6 month period.

Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, you will be responsible for the following:

• Producing statutory accounts for over 20 entities under FRS 102 and liaising with external auditors
• Supporting the finalisation of the previous year's statutory accounts
• Leading and managing a small qualified team responsible for statutory reporting, group consolidations, banking, payments and VAT
• Leading the preparation of the quarterly board pack with group-related reports
• Working alongside the external auditors and advisors on a forthcoming group restructure
• Calculating intercompany accounts and balances
• Corporation tax calculations and liaising with tax advisors
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Ad hoc project work as required by the business

You will be a qualified accountant (likely CA) experienced in statutory reporting and liaison with external auditors. This role will require you to be very hands-on in preparing several entities' annual accounts. Previous experience of working through a period of change and reorganisation within group finance would be beneficial. You will also be comfortable leading and guiding a small, qualified finance team and be able to operate independently.

Salary: £80,000 - £90,000 p.a.
