Rutherford Cross is pleased to be exclusively partnered with a global premium drinks business in Lanarkshire to appoint the newly created role of Finance Analyst. Reporting to a high-calibre FP&A Manager, this represents a fantastic opportunity to join a globally recognised brand in an FP&A-focused and business-facing finance role. Ideally, we are looking to engage with qualified accountants (ACCA, CIMA, ICAS) currently working in the commercial industry, we are also happy to consider individuals seeking to make a first move into the commercial industry from profession. We will also consider PQ / QBE provided the experience is closely aligned. On offer is a salary of up to £48k + bonus, a hybrid and flexible working model, and an extensive benefits package.

Role Purpose

To provide support on group management reporting and financial planning activities. You will ensure accurate and timely information is available when required to support business decisions and provide insight into current business performance, as well as future business developments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the delivery of the monthly management reporting cycle
  • Support the implementation of appropriate business analysis to identify trends, opportunities and risks, including analysis and follow-up of month-end management accounts
  • Support the delivery of the processes as detailed within the Finance Calendar to ensure the integrity of the information
  • Provide support to the delivery of all business planning processes to ensure that challenging, but achievable, financial targets are built into budgets and strategic plans, liaising closely with the Business Growth team to link strategic plans to the financial outputs
  • Support the continual improvement of management reporting techniques / financial planning techniques and processes
  • Support the requirements of the Supervisory Board and The Executive by providing appropriate business analysis and financial support and meeting project requirements across the Group, as required
