Rutherford Cross is delighted to be supporting our client in Edinburgh with their search for an Interim Director in the Finance team to work closely with the CFO. The successful candidate will have an overarching responsibility to deliver against all aspects of Corporate Finance, Corporate & Regional Treasury and FP&A.

The duration of the contract will most likely be 3-6 months, potentially longer.

This opportunity would suit an aspiring CFO or an experienced Corporate Finance professional with extensive experience in refinancing.  It requires a candidate with considerable years of progressive PQE, in a corporate finance / corporate development setting.  Ideally, you will have experience with project finance and be able to demonstrate strong commercial acumen.

As a senior leader in the finance team, the position will include leading and/or supporting significant financing transactions and understanding corporate structures and underpinning business models. The job will require an individual who can be commercially focused and familiar with each project's operations, financing structure and risks.

Managing two teams; a small team of Treasury professionals and an FP&A team, you will be a key voice in setting the vision and priorities for the broader finance function and will manage key stakeholder relationships with regards to setting the business strategy.

Day rate:  £750 - £1000, depending on experience.
