Interim Statutory Accounting Manager job (Hybrid) with our Glasgow based client for a 6-month Fixed Term Contract. Reporting to the Senior Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Review of statutory accounts
• Liaison closely with external auditors and co-ordinating the audit process
• Review and preparation of board reporting
• Oversee FCA regulatory reporting
• Evaluation and preparation of impairment and earn out calculations
• Review of technical accounting papers
• Provide technical support to the Statutory Accounting team
• Ensure compliance with internal controls
• Assess reconciliations of balance sheet and profit & loss accounts
• Ad hoc projects as required e.g., liquidation/dissolution of entities and assisting with acquisitions

To apply, you will be a Qualified Accountant with strong technical accounting skills and previous experience leading a team in a demanding environment. You will be organised, proactive and comfortable working to tight deadlines. The ideal candidate should be familiar with UK GAAP, US GAAP and IFRS accounting standards as well as being proficient in Excel. Salary bracket: Up to £60,000 p.a.
