This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing technology business based in their Edinburgh office looking to appoint a Group Management Accountant. The business is a well-established, VC backed technology company turning over approximately £80M. The business is looking to appoint a forward thinking, pragmatic Group Management Accountant responsible for assisting with the financial management of the group, including management of the finance team, corporate accounting and financial reporting, together with project support for the Finance Director.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and consolidate the annual Group monthly management and financial accounts including full variance and analysis
• Manage a small team providing leadership to and support the Finance Manager and Management Accountants
• Contribute to Group external reporting processes including preparation of all segmental reporting metrics and reconciliations
• Manage all accounting operations including Billing, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and Payroll
• Undertake strategic analysis and assist the Finance Director with strategic planning
• Prepare departmental analysis as required for different business areas
• Support the external auditors
• Review all financial plans regularly to look for cost reduction opportunities

Requirements:

• Qualified Accountant – CA/ACCA/CIMA/ACA or equivalent with a minimum of 3 years pqe
• Experience working within a similar role in a fast paced, change environment
• Line management experience is highly desirable
• Proactive, engaging, motivated induvial
• Supportive leader with strong problem-solving skills
