Rutherford Cross is working with a business based in Glasgow to recruit a Senior Accounts Payable Manager for an interim role for 6 months. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a market leading business in a challenging and rewarding role. As Senior Accounts Payable Manager you will oversee the processing and payment of very high volume invoices and act as escalation point for any issues and strive to ensure risk is minimised. With responsibility for a large team some other key duties will include:
- Support the day to day delivery of the accounts payable operation ensuring adherence to compliance
- Monitoring KPIs and driving continuous improvement
- Build / Improve working relationship with key stakeholders across the business and externally
- Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations
- Responsible for AP Credit Card transactions
For this role it is essential the candidate can hit the ground running so recent experience as an Accounts Payable Senior Manager is essential as well as having a thorough knowledge of the end to end procure to pay cycle along with a sound knowledge of Accounts Payable controls/governance and legislation.
