Fraser Burnett

Consultant – Specialist Services – Audit & Advisory

Meet Fraser

Fraser specialises in the Professional Services market across Scotland, focusing on the recruitment of qualified and senior professionals within Audit, Tax, Deal Advisory, and Restructuring. He also works closely with Director, Sophie Randles, placing individuals into investment roles within the private equity sector.

Fraser comes from a sporting background, having represented Scotland at age-group level in cricket. His sporting career gave him the opportunity to travel extensively, meet people from diverse backgrounds, and experience different cultures. He followed an unconventional educational path, balancing his academic studies with sporting commitments, and ultimately earned a degree in Sports Science. He later completed a postgraduate qualification in Primary Education and spent nearly a decade working in Scotland’s independent education sector, where he developed a strong interest in professional development and staff wellbeing.

Following a successful career in education, Fraser’s personal drive and ambition led him to pursue new challenges in the recruitment industry—motivated by the opportunity to continue making a positive impact on people’s careers in a different professional setting.

Fraser is also passionate about making a difference in the community. He is fortunate to sit on the committee of the Wooden Spoon charity, an organisation that supports disadvantaged children and young people across the UK and Ireland through the power of rugby and community projects.

Outside of work, Fraser enjoys spending time outdoors with his family. A keen sportsman and proud member of the MCC, he is also passionate about food and drink and particularly enjoys discovering Edinburgh’s independent coffee shops and local restaurants.
