We partnered with RC to support the recruitment of a Financial Controller into Inspiring Scotland. Following our initial meeting it was clear to me that Steph got our culture and quickly understood the type of person we were seeking to attract. Working together we developed a job spec which created a strong platform to attract the right candidate. Steph delivered an excellent shortlist, covering a range from keen, younger individual, experienced Financial Controllers, and very experienced FD looking for a charitable role. This spectrum exactly met what I had hoped to attract and gave me the opportunity to interview different types of candidate to see what would work best for my organisation.
Steph’s support in the interview process was invaluable, supporting both the selection of competency questions and sitting in on each interview. Following this she was a great sounding board to help me come to a decision. Our new Financial Controller started a couple of weeks ago, and I am extremely pleased that she has fitted into the organisation seamlessly.
