Rutherford Cross Partners with Whyte & Mackay to Recruit Commercial Finance Business Partner

Rutherford Cross is delighted to be supporting Whyte & Mackay, a proudly Glasgow‑born Scotch whisky business with a legacy dating back to 1844, in the appointment of a Commercial Finance Business Partner.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join an internationally recognised organisation whose award‑winning portfolio includes The Dalmore, Jura, Fettercairn and Tamnavulin. With continued investment in people, sustainability and brand excellence, Whyte & Mackay offer a dynamic, value‑led environment for finance professionals who want to make a tangible commercial impact.

At Whyte & Mackay, finance plays a critical role in driving business performance across a complex, global organisation. This role sits at the interface of Finance, Sales and Marketing, providing key insight, analysis and challenge to support strategic decision‑making. From budgeting and forecasting to customer negotiations and promotional analysis, this is a highly visible, business‑facing position.

This represents an excellent move for a qualified accountant or experienced finance professional who enjoys working closely with stakeholders and influencing outcomes. You’ll take ownership of P&L performance for your area, lead planning cycles, and present to senior stakeholders, including involvement in quarterly business reviews with the executive team.

For someone who enjoys combining strong analytical capability with commercial insight, and wants to play a key role within a premium global brand environment, this is a genuinely exciting and career‑enhancing opportunity.
