Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Management Accountant to provide dedicated financial support to prestigious leisure brand. You will work closely with the Senior Management Accountant with day-to-day support, as well as business partnering with operational stakeholders to drive improvements across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing monthly management accounts and financial reports for review
- Collaborating with budget holders to monitor expenditure and ensure alignment with financial plans
- Supporting the preparation of annual budgets and re-forecasts
- Providing financial insights and support in shaping wider business strategies
- Reconciling balance sheet accounts, investigating discrepancies and escalating unresolved issues
- Performing revenue reconciliations between financial systems
- Overseeing financial transactions, ensuring cost allocations are accurate
- Working closely with external providers to ensure accurate financial reporting
Qualifications & Experience:
- Part qualified accountant with experience within a finance team
- Experience in assisting with financial planning and analysis skills
- Experience working independently and within a team environment
- Proficiency in accounting software and financial systems
- Intermediate Excel skills
