Interim Senior Management Accountant

Rutherford Cross is seeking an experienced Interim Senior Management Accountant to join a well-established organisation based in Glasgow City Centre. This is a long fixed-term contract offering a hybrid working model, providing flexibility while being part of a collaborative and high-performing finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and deliver accurate monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and commentary
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes, providing key insights for strategic decision-making
• Manage balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring financial integrity and compliance
• Business partner with key stakeholders, providing financial guidance and commercial support
• Drive improvements in financial reporting, systems, and processes to enhance efficiency
• Assist with year-end processes and liaise with auditors where necessary
• Provide mentoring and support to junior finance team members

About You:

• Fully qualified or part-qualified accountant (CA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent)
• Proven experience in management accounting within a fast-paced environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail
• Confident in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
• Ability to communicate effectively with both finance and non-finance stakeholders
