Interim Management Accountant

Rutherford Cross is delighted to be supporting a Scottish Headquartered PLC with the appointment of an Interim Management Accountant for an initial 3-6-month period.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts for all functions (Corporate/Finance/Facilities/Properties/HR and Comms)
• Full ledger review along with posting of necessary accruals and prepayments
• Preparation and review of monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Cost monitoring and control with associated variance analysis and commentary
• Liaising with departmental heads on monthly performance
• Prepare ad-hoc management information as required

The Individual:

• Proficient user of Microsoft packages, particularly Excel
• Self-motivated with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong inter-personal skills and ability to communicate clearly with both finance and non-finance individuals
• High level accuracy with attention to detail
• Relevant experience in a similar role
• Qualified accountant (part-qualified with relevant experience will be considered)

On Offer:

• Salary up to £45,000 p.a.
• Hybrid working
