Interim Technical Accountant job (Hybrid) with an established organisation based in Glasgow City Centre for an initial 3-month period.

Reporting to the Senior Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for:

• Producing Statutory Accounts
• Liaising with external Auditors to resolve queries and provide accurate information in a timely manner
• Identifying control weaknesses, recommending control procedures to reduce risk and develop procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness
• Providing support to the working capital function
• Ad hoc duties as required

The individual:

• Fully Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ICAS, CIMA, ICAEW or equivalent)
• Audit background advantageous
• Strong technical accounting skillset
• Understanding of accounting standards and frameworks
• Immediately available for work
• Ability to use own initiative
