Interim Management Accountant role with our Edinburgh-based client for a 12-month period. This role will be reporting directly to the Financial Controller, taking ownership of end-to-end processes for the site while supporting the wider finance team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing monthly reporting packs including variance analysis
- Creating and collecting budgets with input from the operational team
- Maintaining sales and purchase ledgers
- Responsible for month-end close
- Preparing monthly management accounts
- Collating key financial information to support the year-end audit process
- Liaising with auditors
- Overseeing cost control and spending of various projects
- Ad hoc support to the Financial Controller
To apply, you will be a Qualified or Part-Qualified Management Accountant, comfortable with running full end-to-end processes. You will be confident using Excel and have a keen attention to detail. This role will begin in April for a 12-month period. Salary: Up to £40,000 p.a. depending on experience.
