Accounts Assistant

Rutherford Cross is delighted to be working with a global manufacturing organisation with a strong focus on growth plans in the next 3-5 years, in order to appoint a Finance Assistant for a 12-month period to cover a maternity leave.

Key Activities and Responsibilities:

• Process AP Invoices for & deal with supplier queries
• Process AP Payment run
• Manage purchase orders & report to various teams
• Managing Global AR function
• Report Global AR to relevant teams
• Process all bank transactions
• Monthly bank reconciliation
• Monthly reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
• Process month-end journals to assist with month-end reporting function
• Monthly analysis & reporting of R&D Project costs and processing-related journals
• Take on other ad-hoc duties as required to support the team

Experience:

• Previous experience working in a Finance Assistant role
• Data entry skills
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Excel
• A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail

On offer is a competitive salary of up to £35,000 dependent on experience, as well as hybrid working / start and finish times to suit the right candidate. We are looking for candidates that are immediately available or on a short notice period.
