Rutherford Cross is delighted to be exclusively working with our established client in Glasgow for an Interim Financial Controller opportunity for a 12–15-month maternity cover. This role will report directly into the Finance Director and will be responsible for the following:

• Producing a budget, comprising a monthly Income & Expenditure Account, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow, for review by the Director of Finance
• Meeting with budget holders each month to review actual spending compared with budget
• Ensuring that the systems and processes of the Firm provide good internal control
• Ensuring the Firm has systems and processes in place to safeguard the assets of the Firm
• Providing draft financial accounts for audit review within 15 working days of the year-end
• Managing the Financial Accountant who will assist you in fulfilling your role and responsibilities

This role will require a Qualified Accountant under a professional accounting body (CA / CIMA / ACCA / ICAS). Looking for an immediately available candidate and this role will be based in Glasgow City Centre, with the opportunity to work hybrid.
