Description

Rutherford Cross is delighted to be working in partnership with a premium drinks business in Glasgow to appoint a Senior FP&A Accountant for a 12-15-month period.

Reporting to the Financial Planning Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring the delivery of global budgets and forecasts are timely, in full and to a high standard
  • Preparing quality and relevant financial analysis for the budget / forecast
  • Performing specific analysis of any arising issues and provide solutions to the wider finance team
  • Ongoing development of the budgeting / forecasting system to fit with the business objectives, ensuring new developments are properly scoped, tested and supported to ensure successful implementation
  • Strong working relationships with the various finance teams in the UK and international markets and Group Operations, providing support and training on an ad hoc basis
  • Configuring and administrating the Planning Analytics (IBM TM1 Planning Analytics) budgeting / forecast system (investigating user-reported issues, logging change requests and carrying out impact assessments)
  • Managing and controlling master data in Planning Analytics
  • Acting as the key point of contact for the regional / functional teams

The Individual:

  • Fully Qualified Accountant (ICAS, ICAEW, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent)
  • Relevant FP&A experience at Group level
  • Demonstrable problem-solving, and strong organisational skills
  • Confident and possess the gravitas to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders cross-functionally at all levels
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Good Systems knowledge including SAP and / or IBM Planning Analytics
