Interim Financial Controller (Hybrid) job with our client, headquartered in Edinburgh, for a 12-month period to cover maternity.

Reporting to the Finance Director, you will be responsible for:

• Financial management and reporting
• Leadership and management of a small finance team
• Annual budget setting, budgetary monitoring and variance analysis
• Business Partnering and liaison with Senior Management and Project Leaders
• Production of statutory accounts and liaison with external auditors
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Cashflow monitoring and forecasting
• Ongoing improvements of processes and systems
• VAT Returns
• Payroll processing

To apply, you will be a fully qualified accountant with previous experience of leading a finance function and comfortable managing a small finance team. You will be extremely hands on and have a continuous improvement mindset.
