Rutherford Cross is delighted to be working with a leading private equity company in order to appoint a Part-Qualified Accountant. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven individual to gain exposure and further develop their career whilst studying to gain their full professional accountancy qualification. We are looking to speak with Part-Qualified accountants, with strong technical skills and experience of working in a busy finance function.
Role Responsibilities:
- Maintain financial records, systems and internal controls
- Prepare quarterly management accounts and VAT returns
- Prepare statutory year end accounts
- Liaise with auditors
- Prepare the annual forecast
- Tax analysis and compliance
- Maintain the fixed asset register
- Quarterly and year-end reporting
- Maintain portfolio company information
- Regulatory compliance reporting
- Other duties as required
The Individual:
- Accountancy Degree
- Part-Qualified (ACCA/ICAS/CIMA or equivalent)
- Experience working in a busy finance department
- Confident in preparing statutory accounts
- Knowledge of using Sage 50 would be advantageous
- Supportive team player
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and prioritise workload effectively
