Rutherford Cross is delighted to be working with one of our key clients, a highly reputable mid-tier firm, to recruit a Senior Tax Manager - Capital Allowances to be based in either their Edinburgh or Glasgow office.
This is an excellent opportunity to drive the growth of their service offering in Scotland and be part of a national team.
The Individual:
You’ll be someone who is both comfortable working pro-actively and managing your own tasks, as well as confident collaborating with others and communicating regularly with senior managers, directors, and the firm’s partners to help businesses effectively. You’ll be encouraged to identify and draw attention to opportunities for enhancing our delivery and providing additional services to organisations we work with.
We’re looking for someone with:
- An in depth, up to date, knowledge of Capital Allowances and Land Remediation legislation
- Specialist knowledge and the ability to deal with complex tax issues
- Project management experience
- Staff management experience
- Ability to profitably manage a substantial client portfolio
- Ability to actively seek opportunities for developing new clients and for selling new services to existing clients
- Experience of dealing direct with client senior management
- ATT/CTA qualification an advantage
