Interim Financial Controller (Part Time)

Interim Financial Controller (Part Time) job for entrepreneurial and growing business based in Edinburgh for a 3-6-month period. The role will be for 2-3 days per week. Reporting to the Managing Director you will be responsible for:

• Creation of processes and procedures for the finance function
• Preparation of monthly management accounts including profit & loss and balance sheet accounts
• Production of year end statutory accounts and liaison with external auditors
• Evaluation of current systems
• Financial Planning, budgetary monitoring, variance analysis and forecasting on a monthly basis
• Financial modelling of major projects for the business
• Working Capital calculations

To apply you will be Qualified Accountant and experienced Finance Manager / Financial Controller  from an sme background. You will ideally have experience of working in a start up situation and have implemented processes and procedures from scratch. You will be extremely hands on but also have the stakeholder skills to liaise at Board level. Day Rate: £200-£300 per day
