This opportunity has arisen to provide additional financial leadership and support during a significant period of business transformation, process improvement, and systems development.

The purpose of the role is to ensure the integrity, accuracy, and timely delivery of the Company’s operational financial reporting, accounting, forecasting, and control processes, as well as leading the month-end close and management reporting cycle, supporting statutory and Group reporting, and ensuring that appropriate financial controls, reconciliations, and accounting procedures are maintained.
The Financial Controller will lead and develop the operational Finance team and oversee key finance processes, including transactional accounting, payroll and pensions, treasury administration, indirect taxes, insurance administration, internal and external audit support and finance systems improvement
The role acts as a key deputy to the Finance Director on operational finance matters and is responsible for promply escalating material reporting issues, control weaknesses, compliance risks and emerging exposures. The successful candidate will also provide high-quality financial analysis, commentary and advice to the Finance Director, Managing Director and budget holders, supporting effective operational and commercial decision-making across the business.
Based in East Kilbride with hybrid working, this is an excellent opportunity for a Financial Controller to join a busy finance function within an international group, working with household-name brands as part of a high calibre finance team.
