The Head of Financial Planning, Analysis & Finance Operations will play a central role in supporting this strategic ambition. The position will lead the University’s financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, management reporting and performance analysis activities, ensuring high-quality insight is available to support decision-making at all levels of the organisation.
Working closely with the Interim Finance Director, Executive leaders and colleagues across the University’s global operations, the successful candidate will provide strategic financial guidance, lead long-range financial planning, develop sophisticated financial models and support major investment, transformation and change initiatives. The role will also oversee finance operations, driving process improvement, operational effectiveness and service excellence across the function.
Candidates will be fully qualified accountants (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA or equivalent) with a proven track record of leading FP&A and finance functions within large, complex organisations. You will bring exceptional analytical capability, strong commercial acumen and the ability to build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders. Experience of leading teams, influencing strategic outcomes and driving continuous improvement will be essential.
