Description
Rutherford Cross is working together with a leading Big 4 firm in Ireland to recruit a Transfer Pricing Senior Consultant for their team in Dublin.
Ireland is the third-largest island in Europe and is split into the Republic of Ireland and Northern Island, which is part of the United Kingdom. Ireland’s culture is world renowned, no matter where you are in the world you will undoubtedly find an Irish bar somewhere! From the stereotype of drinking Guiness to the friendly and welcoming people, Ireland is regarded as one of the Celtic ‘nations’ of Europe. Ireland can offer the bustling city of Dublin where there is always something to do, or many hills and ragged peninsulas for the outdoor and adventurous type. Ireland ranks among the wealthiest counties in the world in terms of GDP per capita and after joining the European Union in 1973, Ireland enacted a series of liberal economic policies that resulted in rapid economic growth until the global economic crash in 2008. Although still recovering from the economic crash, Ireland remains one of the world’s most prosperous nations with a shift from being predominantly agricultural driven to having more of a focus on high technology industries and services. Ireland has witnessed an increase in foreign investment and attracted several multinational corporations due to the low corporation tax rate, including Intel, Microsoft, Google and Facebook. The financial services industry also plays a large part in the Irish economy.
This is a fantastic opportunity to develop in this Big 4’s key growth area. As part of the ambitious international growth and development plan of their transfer pricing practice, the successful applicant will focus on advising multinational companies on transfer pricing, supply chain and related international tax issues. To be considered for the role, you must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience working within transfer pricing in a Big 4 or Top 10 firm in an established market. Experience gained from other EU markets is of greatest interest and you must have a keen interest in relocating to Ireland.
