Temporary Senior Finance Officer

Temporary Senior Finance Officer job with our Edinburgh based client for a 12-month period. Reporting to the Finance Manager you will be responsible for:

• Preparing financial reports for a portfolio of projects carrying out necessary reconciliations
• Liaison with finance and non-finance staff members advising and interpreting details of the financial reports
• Reconciling income and expenditure of completed projects to allow their closure
• Maintain documentation for each project for audit purposes
• Processing of invoices and journals relative to each project
• Support month end accounting routines
• Assist in the development and implementation of improvements to working practices

To apply you will have previous experience of working in a finance role with an eye for detail and strong reconciliation skills. You will be hands on in both transactional and administrative aspects of a finance role. Salary up to £30,000 p.a.
