Temporary Management Accountant job with a growing medium sized Manufacturing Business based in Glasgow. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Accountant with a background in Manufacturing as it is covering a vacancy and could develop into a permanent position. Reporting to the Head of Finance you will be responsible for:

• Preparing monthly management accounts including profit & loss and balance sheet accounts
• Production of monthly management reports including Group Consolidations
• Calculating cost of sales using recognised Costing methodologies
• Profitability and margin analysis
• Attending and contributing to weekly meetings with Divisional Management
• Budgetary monitoring, variance analysis and forecasting
• Cashflow analysis and forecasting
• Providing decision support to Management in the manufacturing operation
• Analysis of financial performance and liaising with non-financial managers

To apply you must have previously worked within Manufacturing and will be either a Qualified or ‘Qualified by Experience’ Accountant. You will have excellent analytical and costing skills and will be an intermediate to advanced Excel user. Ideally the client is looking for a Monday 21st September start or before if possible. Salary between £40,000 and £50,000 per annum.
