Temporary Group Financial Accountant

Temporary Group Financial Accountant job with our client based in Edinburgh. Reporting to the Finance Manager you will be responsible for:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts including profit & loss and consolidated balance sheet
• Balance Sheet review and reconciliations
• Production of statutory accounts for a number of entities within the Group to meet IFRS and UK GAAP
• Liaison with External Auditors
• Preparation of cash flow budget and forecasts
• Providing technical accounting support as required
• Provide first class internal customer service to key stakeholders

To apply you will either be a Qualified Accountant or ‘Qualified by Experience’ with a very strong technical Financial Accounting / Preparation of Statutory Accounts skillset. You will be experienced in UK GAAP and IFRS. You will also have ideally worked in a large complex business and have worked with an ERP system previously. Start July 2017. Salary £40,000 – £50,000.
