Temporary Financial Accountant job with our large public sector client based in Glasgow for a 6 month period. You will be responsible for:

• Production of monthly management accounts including income & expenditure and balance sheet accounts
• Supporting the preparation of the annual statutory accounts to meet IFRS
• Balance Sheet reconciliations
• Accruals & prepayments
• Co-ordinating and meeting the deadlines of the year end timetable
• Final submission of statutory accounts and liaison with external auditors

To apply you will ideally be a CCAB Qualified Accountant, with track record of preparing statutory accounts within a large, complex and dynamic business. You will also be familiar with the Scottish Public Sector Manual, have first class communication skills and be able to meet tight deadlines. Interview early March 2015. Salary £32,000 to £40,000 per annum
