Temporary Financial Accountant job with our client, a Glasgow based Charity to work within their Head Office. Reporting to the Head of Finance the postholder will be responsible for:
- Maintenance of accurate financial records and the integrity of the accounting systems
- Compliance with regulatory requirements with regards to accounting records and reporting
- Leading, managing and coaching a small Finance team
- Overseeing cash management of bank accounts
- Preparation of monthly management accounts
- Production of annual accounts in line with UK Charity SORP, liaising with external auditors
- Working closely with Senior Management in relation to Financial Planning and Decision Support
- Budgetary monitoring and variance analysis, presenting clear explanations to key stakeholders
- Co-ordination of monthly payroll processes

This opportunity is ideally suited to an individual who wants to work in a growing and fast paced organisation. This position is for a 6 month period. Salary up to £33,500 per annum.
