Temporary Financial Accountant job with our public sector client based in the central belt of Scotland for a 3-6 month period. You will be responsible for:

• Production of monthly management accounts including income & expenditure and balance sheet accounts
• Supporting the preparation of the annual statutory accounts
• Balance Sheet reconciliations
• Accruals & prepayments
• Co-ordinating and meeting the deadlines of the year end timetable
• Final submission of statutory accounts and liaison with external auditors

To apply you will ideally be a CCAB Qualified Accountant, with a track record of preparing statutory accounts within the public sector previously. You will also be familiar with the Scottish Public Sector Manual, have first class communication skills and be able to meet tight deadlines. Interview early March 2015. Salary £35,000 to £40,000 per annum
