Rutherford Cross is collaborating with a growing challenger bank in Edinburgh to recruit an ambitious and recently qualified accountant (1-3 years PQE) into their reporting team. The bank is going through an exciting phase as it continues to grow and explore new opportunities to expand.

This position plays a pivotal role in supporting the divisional manager with the provision of various internal and external reports.

Key responsibilities within this role will include:

- Preparation of monthly management accounts

- Preparation of statutory accounts

- Submission of data and information for group consolidation

- Consolidation of subsidiary companies

Candidate Profile

This position has come about as a result of an internal promotion into a newly created position elsewhere in finance. The hiring manager is looking for the following skills and qualifications in the successful candidate:

- CA / ACCA / CIMA Qualification (1-3 years PQE)

- Strong communication and report writing skills

- Experience in the financial services sector is preferred but not essential
