Rutherford Cross is working in partnership with a world leading Manufacturing company based out of Luxembourg.  Managing a team and working across compliance, transfer pricing and tax accounting.

This role will be heading up a team of tax professionals, managing the day to day activities of the team. Developing, training and guiding the team members to ensure expectations are met.  Responsible for key area within Tax compliance, Transfer Pricing and Tax Accounting, this role will have senior responsibilities with overall management of the core areas.  The company is a massive global player with operations across many countries and therefore allows for a changing and complex tax system and processes which this role will ultimately be exposed to.

Based in Luxembourg, you will often travel to Switzerland and other offices across Europe.  With the close proximity to France, Belgium and Germany, this base could suit both locals and expats a like. Luxembourg is a cultural mixture of Europeans and also boasts nationals from further afield due to its economy and strong presence within the Financial Services sector and one of the main places to have many large European HQ’s.

For this role you must have at least 8 years’ experience within Tax and certainly some experience of managing a team. Working in house is essential and ideally a generalist type role with exposure to Tax Accounting, compliance and Transfer Pricing.  European Passport holders are essential for this post and ideally fluent in English + either French or German but not essential.  Strong academics is important as well experience in working for industrial type multi-national.
