More than ever, business is about interpreting and reacting to complex data and thus our client is seeking a driven and ambitious Senior Manager to join their fast-growing Audit Service line in Edinburgh and or Glasgow.
In this position, you will play a key role in driving growth by developing new and existing client relationships, leading highly skilled project teams and delivering a first-class customer experience on high-profile engagements. Everything you’ll do will come back to providing exceptional analytical insights for their clients. Equally colleagues and clients will look to you first for answers so you’ll be a high-profile contact when it comes to resolving complex issues.
Our client is looking for future leaders with a genuine creative vision and the confidence to make it happen. You can expect plenty of autonomy in this role, so you’ll also need the ability to take initiative and seek out opportunities to improve our current relationships and processes.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Establishing and building client relationships
- Assisting with targeting activities as part of the growth agenda
- Planning and project managing a portfolio of audit clients
- Budgeting and monitoring the financial performance of an audit department, focusing on optimizing profitability
- Leading, inspiring and motivating an audit department, and reporting to the audit partner group
- Report writing and reviewing for Audit Committees and management
- Driving new ways to differentiate the firm- how can we bring new and innovative ideas to our clients?
- Mentoring and coaching junior staff
Essentials:
- CA or ACA qualification
- Strong IT literacy, including Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- Creativity with a commercial focus
- Strong technical skills
- Accountability and decision making ability
- Attention to detail, organised with a commitment to quality
- Willingness to take on additional responsibility and opportunities and a commitment to personal development
