The purpose of the role is to perform and oversee financial accounting and control duties within the working capital function, such as: periodic and statutory cashflow reporting, compliance matters, balance sheet reconciliations, technical accounting and other ad hoc finance projects.

Duties include:

• Ownership of the working capital function
• Owner of cashflow management, reviewing regularly to ensure business continuity
• Perform the periodic cash flow analysis
• Perform detailed analysis on capital, cashflows and ratios to assist the Senior Reporting Accountant on the budgeting and forecasting process
• Review P2P processes and make continual improvements where possible to ensure best endeavours are made to pay suppliers
• Maintain a professional and collaborative relationship with shared service centre counterparts to allow for effective communication
• Play a proactive role in continuous improvements to processes
• Contribute to the accurate and timely production of financial returns required for financial reporting, including statutory reporting, internal reporting, reporting to partners / Group / other stakeholders
• Review comprehensive reconciliations and appropriate controls, hierarchy changes and delegated authorities as directed to maintain the integrity of the Ledger
