Senior Financial Accountant job with a large Glasgow based business with international operations who are currently looking for an Accountant to join the business on a 1 year contract role. The organisation are market leaders with an excellent reputation and will provide an exciting opportunity for a qualified Accountant looking to gain experience working within a highly experienced finance team with a highly reputable brand.

Key responsibilities of the role will include:

-Preparation of monthly management accounts and consolidations including reporting of key financial information

-Quarterly budgets and forecasts – preparing and providing in-depth analysis

-Statutory accounts reporting for half and full year end

-Providing financial management information for Senior Management including Finance and Executive Directors

-Liaising with auditors and tax advisors

To apply for this role you must be a qualified accountant, preferably CA/ACA and have a strong understanding of IFRS and UK accounting standards as well as having experience of Group Consolidations. It is essential you will have strong communication skills and the confidence to liaise with stakeholders at all levels. Your background will include a mix of financial and management reporting as well as possessing strong technical skills and experience of working with a large firm/bluechip business.
